APC Set to Unveil New National Publicity Secretary Who Worked Under Jonathan

The All Progressives Congress has finally secured a replacement for its former scribe, Lai Mohammed who is now a federal minister.

Barring any last-minute change of plans, the All Progressives Congress, APC is set to unveil a former Minister of Sports, Bolaji Abdullahi as its substantive National Publicity Secretary,naijagoodynews can authoritatively report.

Abdullahi, from Kwara state and an ally of Senate President Bukola Saraki and former vice president, Atiku Abubakar served as minister under the administration of former President Goodluck Jonathan.

It was gathered that the appointment would be announced before the end of the week after a meeting of the National Working Committee NWC of the party expected to hold before Wednesday.

“I can tell you that everything is set. The appointment could be announced either Tuesday or Wednesday”, said a high-ranking party source who is privy to the plan, but who did not want his name in print because he was not authorised to speak publicly on the matter.

Abdullahi was himself sighted at the party’s national secretariat on Monday, ostensibly to meet with the leadership of the party. The position is currently zoned to the North-Central part of the country.
